The application development Project Owner/Manager requires extensive knowledge of the Agile software development life cycle. The Project Owner/Manager will coordinate a cross-functional Agile development team utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. The role will assume a servant leadership role to support a self-organized team to complete Scrum projects. The Project Owner/Manager will facilitate sprint planning meetings, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, retrospectives, and identify and remove impediments to progress.

Duties will primarily revolve around working with users on user stories, developing acceptance criteria tests, maintaining the backlog, tracking team capacity, managing project trajectory, software system design, interfacing with department heads and senior management to identify and report on project goals.

Responsibilities Include

• Ownership of project backlog 
• Identifying, drafting, reviewing, maintaining user stories and their supporting information
• Prioritizing and organizing stories for Dev Team to work on
• Track daily sprint progress and maintain schedules
• Support, coach, and mentor team members

Requirements Include 3-5 Years of Experience and

• Excellent understanding of software design methodologies, particularly the Agile Framework and its tenets 
• High degree of familiarity with project tracking software such as Azure DevOps or Jira
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability 
• Great attention to detail and time-management skills
