Description

The Quality Assurance and Training Specialist is responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch.

Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the test phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include constructing and running new tests, updating existing tests, reporting on the results, maintaining validation procedures, collaborating with software developers to fix program issues, and working with users on issues including software system design, documentation, and maintenance.

Responsibilities Include

  • Create tests to identify software problems
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests
  • Document results of tests for the software development team
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
  • Motivate the development process for efficiency and performance
  • Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
  • Research and compare similar competitor products
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
  • Teaching end users to use software systems

Requirements Include 2-5 Years of Experience and

  • Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or similar
  • Experienced with Agile and Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment methodologies
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar
  • Great time-management skills
  • Comfortable training remotely and in front of large groups
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
