Training Assistant

The Training Assistant will contribute to the daily administration and coordination of training functions and events.

Essential Functions of the Job:

· Complete administrative and clerical tasks related to the delivery of training, including but not limited to:

o Write and send emails

o Answer telephone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate person

o Organize and file relevant documents, including but not limited to completed training dates, historic and current training materials, and prior communication memos

o Ensure conference rooms and shared spaces are available and scheduled for in-person and virtual trainings and related meetings

· Schedule training courses, coordinate with trainers, distribute required instructional materials to trainees, and communicate schedules and details to all parties

· Assist the Training and Development Representative in the creation of written and visual training materials

· Assist in the development of DNA University platform to store all in-house training materials

· Write emails, newsletters, and webpage articles on company intranet to market new changes in policy, procedures, and available training programs

· Assist with sending training modules to employees and tracking completion

· Assist with data entry and reporting as needed

· Perform special projects and tasks as directed by team manager

· Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team

Requirements:

· Skills required: organized, detail-oriented, interpersonal skills

· General knowledge and capability to operate office equipment

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals

Physical Demands:

· Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday

· Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach

· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Work Environment:

Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team
