Vice President of Clinical Operations
 

The Vice President of Clinical Operations will be located in our Charlotte office. This position is responsible for maintaining effective and efficient clinical processes.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Ensure existing clinical policies and procedures comply with current state and federal regulations.
  • Where necessary, identify and recommend new policies and procedures to ensure quality, compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Complete initial and ongoing quality audits of previously audited compliance and credentialing documents while providing constructive feedback and education to individual team members
  • Provide quality insight into employee matters pertaining to the health and safety of field and office personnel, including assessment of internal personnel call-off procedures regarding COVID-19
  • Work with Managers and Department Heads to provide education on procedures and answer questions as they arise
  • Audit credentialing files for completeness, accuracy, consistency, relevant references, etc.
  • Identify data and procedural issues and initiate further data collection as needed to prepare for the Joint Commission audits
  • Assist in the timely submission of all state licensing requirements
  • Collaborate with CNO and HR Department on employee safety for Worker's Compensation and Safety Committee procedures
  • Assist the Executive Team with any special projects when necessary
  • Maintain and handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team


Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Situational awareness, problem solving, critical thinking, and active listening skills
  • General knowledge and capability to operate office equipment
  • Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals
     

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday
  • Ability to move about the office, bend and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
     

Work Environment:

Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
