Essential Functions of the Job:
Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
- Oversee and work with homecare division offices to ensure each office completes the following:
- Increase office revenue for each office by a minimum of 3.5% each month
- Increase total billable hours for each office by a minimum of 100 hours per month
- Gain 1 new private pay client in both Central PA Homecare (“CPAHC”) and Eastern PA Homecare (“EPAHC”) offices per month
- Gain 2 new private pay clients in the Western PA Homecare (“WPAHC”) office per month
- Retain clients with a 90% retention rate
- Maintain knowledge and competency in all homecare positions to be able to meet individual performance expectations listed below and provide assistance in the event of team members’ absences:
- Personally schedule a minimum of 100 billable homecare hours per week
- Personally sign on a minimum of 1 new client per month
- Personally attend a minimum of 1 in-person event per quarter
- Personally hire a minimum of 1 new caregiver per month
- Personally complete client visits both in person and virtually, as applicable
- Supervise and direct Division Managers and Assistant Division Managers in each homecare office
- Interview, hire, and coordinate training for homecare internal staff
- Create, build, implement, and ensure successful training resources for each team member
- Coach, counsel, and discipline all homecare employees on job expectations where necessary
- Formulate effective approaches to combat homecare-specific competition
- Partner with Marketing Dept and Managers to ensure effective utilization of each homecare office’s budget
- Provide regular updates and communication to the Executive Team on homecare initiatives and goals
- Address high-level client complaints and employee issues in a professional manner
- Assist Managers and the Payroll and Billing Dept to resolve homecare-specific timekeeping issues
- Assist Managers and the Accounts Receivable Dept to resolve homecare-specific billing and authorization issues
- Collaborate with the CNO, COO, and Managers to monitor compliance with homecare laws and regulations
- Revise existing procedures, create new procedures, and work with Managers to implement procedural changes
- Travel to the EPAHC office located in Allentown, PA, on a recurring basis at least twice per month and/or as directed by the Executive Team
- Ensure the Manager of EPAHC is traveling to the Allentown office on a recurring basis, at least twice per month
- Travel to the WPAHC office located in Delmont, PA, as needed and/or as directed by the Executive Team
- Travel to the Corporate office located in Demont, PA, at least once per quarter and/or as directed by the Executive Team
- Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team
- Travel required up to 50%
- Experience in the homecare industry
- Experience in managing multiple direct reports, preferably in multiple office locations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- General knowledge and capability to operate office equipment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attend all Manager and Assistant Manager meetings, both on-site and off-site when notified in writing by DNA of required attendance
