Description

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for duties pertaining to financial accounting.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Prepare journal entries and accruals on a monthly basis
  • Complete bank account reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Complete reviews of monthly financial statements
  • Assist in submission of weekly payroll for Executive Management
  • Prepare tax return apportionment for State tax returns
  • Review tax returns and tax estimates
  • Respond to Federal and State tax notices in a timely manner
  • Assist with State Filings and Registrations
  • Assist with Accounts Payable functions when necessary
  • Assist with all Audits (Federal, State, Worker’s Comp, Dept of Labor, etc.)
  • Assist with completing due diligence work for potential acquisitions
  • Assist CEO and CFO with any special projects when necessary
  • Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA License required
  • General knowledge of and capability to operate office equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday
  • Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

Work Environment:

  • Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
